With more then 200 photos taken over a period of 50 years, the "Lure of Gold" by H. Robert Case should be in every library and historical society in Colorado. Many of the pictured relics no longer exist except here as historical photos to remind us of Colorado's mining heritage.
This would make a great gift for out if town guests, too!
Not very good photos and no information about mining.
I didn't read it. My dad did and he reported that he enjoyed reading this book. I think he had a hard time putting it down till he was finished!
I have known Bob Case for a long time before he moved to Oregon. He's nice and humble person I have known. Thanks for the book!
